Service Agreement & No Refund Policy

Before any service begins, clients are responsible for clearly communicating their desired result, including tone, length, shape, maintenance level, and reference photos when available.

Our salon professionals will explain what is realistically achievable based on the starting condition of the hair, nails, or skin, previous service history, integrity of the hair, time available, and technical limitations.

Once a service begins, the agreed service plan is considered approved by the client.

Beauty services are highly customized. Hair color, tone, lift, texture, shape, and final appearance may vary depending on natural base, previous chemical services, hair history, porosity, condition, lighting, and aftercare.

Inspiration photos are used as visual references only and are not a guarantee of identical results.

All completed services are non-refundable. No full or partial refunds will be issued for services that have already been performed, except where required by applicable law.

This includes dissatisfaction based on personal preference, such as wanting a cooler tone, warmer tone, different length, different shape, or a different overall look than originally discussed.

All services performed, appointment time reserved, technical labor, artistic work, and professional products used are payable in full.

A refusal to pay for completed services does not invalidate the payment obligation.

If you believe your final result materially differs from the consultation plan, you must notify HIKARA Beauty Studio within 72 hours of your appointment.

Clients must return for in-person evaluation within 7 calendar days unless another timeline is approved in writing.

Any corrective adjustment is offered at the salon's professional discretion and is limited to bringing the result closer to the original agreed plan.

A change of mind or request for a new look after service completion is considered a new service and will be charged accordingly.

Some services, including blonding, balayage, highlights, color correction, vivid color work, major tone changes, bridal hair, and certain restorative treatments, may require multiple appointments to achieve the safest and most appropriate result.

Hair health and technical limitations may require the salon professional to modify the original goal.

Clients are responsible for fully disclosing prior color, bleach, keratin treatments, relaxers, perms, henna, metallic salts, extensions, allergies, sensitivities, medication changes, and any other information that may affect the service outcome.

HIKARA Beauty Studio is not responsible for compromised results caused by incomplete or inaccurate disclosure.

We are committed to maintaining a respectful environment for clients and staff. Abusive language, threats, harassment, intimidation, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

HIKARA Beauty Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service in such cases. Any portion of the service completed remains payable.

Fraudulent chargebacks, payment reversals, or refusal to pay for completed services may be addressed through all lawful remedies available, including merchant dispute response, collection efforts, and legal action where permitted.

These policies shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Maryland, to the extent applicable.
